先ほどフェイスブックに投稿されたメッセージです。



「新コロナ感染者がこのデルノーテ郡にも確認されました。これは予測されていた事です。

今私達は、皆揃ってここにいるから強くいられるのだ、ということを見失ってはいけません。デルノーテ郡は過去にも様々な試練を経験して来ました。でも私達はまだ此処にいる。これからも試練は続くでしょうから油断してはいけません。そしてそれが洪水であれ津波であれ、不況であれ、コロナ大感染であれ、私達は克服できます。

それと、私達は皆まとまっているから強いんだというポイントを忘れないで下さい。お互いの違いを脇に置いて、明日の健康のためという目的を分かち合いましょう。これが終息した後で、幾らでも言い争うことが出来るから。

最後に、冷静さを保って下さい。パニックはパニックを呼びます。他の人に取ってもらいたい行動を、自分がやって下さい。

私はデルノーテ郡の誇り、デルノーテ郡の強さ。どうかこの直面を、コミュニティで一丸となって乗り切るために、私と他のたくさん人達と一緒になって下さい。

尚シェリフ署は何時もどおり、皆さんのためにここに待機しております。

A message from the Sheriff:

COVID19 has been confirmed in Del Norte County. We expected this. We preemptively decided to work collectively in preparation for this.

I want people to not lose focus on how strong we are because of who we are. Del Norte County has been tested many times in the past. We are still here. We will continue to be tested and we will remain ever vigilant. Whether it be floods, tsunamis, economic struggle or a global pandemic, we will prevail.

Secondly, keep in mind we are stronger together. Let's put our differences aside and share the common goal of a healthier tomorrow. We can all argue when this is over. We have often pushed through trouble with the support of our neighbors.

Lastly, stay calm. Panic only breeds more panic. Pull your weight, do your part and be the example you want to see in others.

I am Del Norte Proud and I am Del Norte Strong. Please join me and many others as we navigate through this as a unified community.

The DNSO continues to operate at full service and we are here for all of you.

Stay logical and keep the faith.
